While last year was our 50th Anniversary, there didn’t seem to be any good way to celebrate the milestone. However, we are very thankful to all the wonderful clients we have had the pleasure to work with these past 50 years, and we are hopeful that this year we can have a big celebration to show our appreciation.

Chip Radebaugh Named a “Happening Person”

Rainbow Valley Design and Construction General Manager and partner, Chip Radebaugh, was recognized as a “Happening Person” by the Eugene Weekly. Chip is serving as president of the Eugene Family YMCA board as the organization is undergoing a major capital campaign. Chip’s commitment to the Eugene YMCA is personal.

Big Collaboration, Tiny Home

We are proud to have designed and built this home for, (and donated it to), Square One Villages’ Emerald Villages Eugene, a tiny house community that provides permanent homes for people with very low incomes. Because Square One Villages is working with volunteers in other cities to develop similar communities, the building was designed to be simple to build and uses common, inexpensive materials and systems.

The award winning Pomranky Patio & Spa was included in Eugene Magazine's featured article, "Take it Outside" and 1859's featured article, "Backyard Oasis." For this project, Rainbow Valley installed a private spa-like retreat for year-round outdoor living, cooking, relaxing and entertaining. The project won two awards in 2012.

This is the company’s sixth consecutive win and the sixth year for the category. This year, the Register-Guard added a “Favorite Remodeling Contractor” category, which Rainbow Valley also won.
